My confidence, achievement, and work I am doing now is the result of experience and implementation that I have learned during my involvement in the women group, women network, an organization called Empowered Women’s Society for Development, Women’s Cooperative, and as a staff and participant of Community Development and Management Course at Share and Care Nepal.
I have learned about women empowerment, community development, and management when I was engaged with the Share and Care Nepal and it’s a program. Although I was an educated woman, I was not confident to interact with people. Today I am an elected Deputy Mayor of Dakchhinkali Municipality and I remember the contributions of Share and Care Nepal to bring me in this position. Share and Care Nepal taught me from scratch like how to speak confidently when I was shaking with fear. They have taught me to take a stand when my legs were trembling. Ramesh Sir (Executive Director of Share and Care Nepal) guided me to build my confidence to express myself.
