About CDM Basic Course
The Basic Course on Community Development & Management (CDM) is designed for the beginners of community development. The beginner of development shall be engaged for three weeks learning process with a residential and field practicum program to learn the basics of community, development, and skills.
This program is to provide an opportunity for the freshers too, who likes to pursue their career in community development. The potential participants of CDM are working professionals, who have limitations with IT exposure, language barrier, time limitations, and other reasons.
This is also a nature of the program that the partner organization has been requesting i.e. short-term with less post practicum, assignments but need for the development of knowledge and skill on community development.
The course has been implementing since 2017 for those individuals who would like to pursue their careers in community development. Up to now, 58 participants have already been trained and completed the basic course successfully. The course is focused on i) concept & approaches, ii) knowledge and skills, iii) attitude, and behavior. Please, feel free to download the course prospectus below to learn more about it.
